Auction Sale: The most common sale type in the eBay marketplace. Items
are sold in auctions style and run for a set number of days, the high
bidder at the end of auction is the winner.
Buy it Now: This is a set price that will complete a transaction on
eBay. This price is set by the seller and is revealed to all potential
bidders in the marketplace. A buy it now price is an effective way to
complete transactions in a shorter amount of time.
Commission: This is a fee that SaleWithUs will charge once your item sells on eBay, the fee is discussed in advance of sale.
eBay: eBay is a worldwide, online marketplace designed to bring buyers and sellers safely together.
Fixed Pricing: Fixed pricing is popular with new items or listings that have very specific price points.
PayPal:
A payment processing arm of eBay that accepts payments from debit and
credit cards and direct from bank accounts. There is a fee associated
with all transactions paid thru PayPal that will be accessed to our
consignors (sellers).
Prepayment: An amount required by SaleWithUs in advanced for items that start above or standard starting range .99 - 19.99.
Reserve: A set price that potential bidders must meet for the
transaction to be completed. A reserve price is only known to the
seller and will be revealed to the eBay marketplace once the reserve is
met. The seller has no obligation to sell an item below this price.
Shipping: Shipping is generally the responsibility of the buyer and will not affect the consignors payout amount.
Starting Price: This is the amount of money a bidder must bid the begin the auction, no amount below this price will be accepted.
Store Inventory: Items sold in store inventory are set at fixed pricing
and listed for 30 days. This is a strategy for items that are more
unique or have niche markets.
